Join us for the 2023 Inpatient Pain Network Meeting supported by the NZSA.

The aim of this meeting is to provide some targeted education for regional pain services, allow some networking opportunities and celebrate our joint efforts in providing pain management in Aotearoa New Zealand.

10.20 – 10.50: Morning tea & debrief
10.50 – 11.20: A complex pain case, nursing perspective | Erica Gleeson, Nurse Practitioner Palmerston North
11.20 – 11.40: Topical volatile anaesthetic agents for chronic ulcer pain | Dr John Barnard, Waikato
11.40 – 12.10: Intra peritoneal lidocaine at CMH | Dr Rachel Sara
12.10 – 12.30: Morning wrap up

12.30 – 13.20: Lunch
13.20 – 14.00: Small Group set up and presentations | Dr Mike Foss
14.00 – 14.30: * Procedural sedation in your hospital
14.30 – 15.00: * Care pathways (acute and elective)

15.00 – 15.30: Afternoon tea
15.30 – 16.00: * Acute on chronic pain patients on the round
16.00 – 16.30: * Analgesic stewardship
16.30 – 17.00: Final wrap up
